Heather L. Hurd 5K Spooktacular

The 10th annual race honors a Harford County native killed in 2008 by a tractor-trailer driver who was texting. Funds go to the Remembrance Book Scholarships for Harford Community College students and to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. Activities for kids include a Halloween-themed area from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Race starts at 9 a.m. Registration costs vary.
