Howard County Conservancy’s Nature Day Camp inspires children to connect to nature through investigations, hikes, interpretive activities, arts and crafts, engineering design challenges and more. Sneak through the forest to find animals unaware, jump from puddle to puddle like a frog, learn about soil through mud tie-dying, and get your hands dirty exploring outdoors. The Conservancy offers full-day nature camps in one-week sessions at our Mt. Pleasant location in Woodstock and our Belmont location in Elkridge.

This week’s camp allows the magic of the great classical ballets to come to life and ignite your child’s inspiration for dance. The famous story ballets, such as Swan Lake and Giselle, will enchant your dancer while they dance to the music of Tchaikovsky and leap into the adventure behind the beauty of each ballet. Daily crafts will take on themes from the storybook ballet of the day. Wear dance attire with ballet shoes. Bring a nut-free snack and drink.

Slayton House Theatre Camp of the is a musical theatre summer camp with three sessions for campers of varying experience. The Broadway Edition runs from June 24-July 12 and is geared to the more experienced camper in grades 6 & up. Our Rising Stars Sessions are for campers of limited experience in grades 1-8. Rising Stars Session I runs from July 15-July 25, and Rising Stars Session II runs from July 29-Aug. 9.
